Aamir Khan announces Taare Zameen Par sequel
The story revolved around an eight-year-old gifted boy named Ishaan, and Aamir played the role of his art teacher who discovers the child's dyslexia and helps him realize his true potential.
Actor Aamir Khan has shared news about his upcoming movie titled "Sitare Zameen Par." In an interview with News18, he mentioned that this film follows a similar theme to his 2007 movie "Taare Zameen Par."
Aamir Khan talked about his new film, saying, "I can't reveal much at this moment, but I can share the title. The film is called 'Sitare Zameen Par.' You might remember my film 'Taare Zameen Par,' and this one continues with a similar theme. While 'Taare Zameen Par' was emotional, this film will bring laughter instead of tears."
He also added, "The underlying theme remains the same, which is why we chose this name thoughtfully. We all have imperfections and weaknesses, but we all possess something unique. In 'Taare Zameen Par,' my character helped the special child Ishaan, while in 'Sitare Zameen Par,' these 9 boys with their own issues help my character. It's the reverse."
As reported by the news agency PTI, Aamir Khan will also be producing this upcoming feature film. He is set to produce three films, including "Laapata Ladies" directed by Kiran Rao, another project with his son Junaid Khan, and "Lahore 1947" with Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol. Aamir expressed his excitement about these productions.
"Taare Zameen Par" was both produced and directed by Aamir Khan. It featured Aamir himself, along with Darsheel Safary, Tanay Chheda, Vipin Sharma, and Tisca Chopra. The story revolved around an eight-year-old gifted boy named Ishaan, and Aamir played the role of his art teacher who discovers the child's dyslexia and helps him realize his true potential.
Aamir's most recent appearance was in "Laal Singh Chaddha," directed by Advait Chandan, which was an official remake of the Hollywood classic "Forrest Gump." The movie also starred Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh. Despite not performing well at the box office, Aamir announced a break from acting to focus on his family.
