Akhanda 2 New Date Impact: Shocked Hero Postpones Film

Senior star Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest movie “Akhanda 2” is roaring big way before it made it into the silver screen. After the film’s unexpected postponement just hours before the release on December 5th, it took time for the issues to be resolved. Last night, makers of the film announced that the Boyapati Sreenu directorial will hit cinemas on December 12th. Here’s how the announcement’s impact is.

Actor Nandu has finally impressed the audience with his choice of films as the trailer of his latest movie “Psyche Siddharth” grabbed eyeballs a couple of weeks ago. The film, backed by Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media, has locked December 12th as the release date. Hoping that the good content, coupled by interesting performances and new-age screenplay style, Nandu pinned a lot of expectations to that. However, with Akhanda 2 locking the same date, now Nandu’s makers have decided to postpone their release.

Rather than releasing a good movie against a big-star’s hyped film, it’s better to wait and find a solo date, such that even Pshyche Siddharth will get an advantage like a Little Hearts or Raju Weds Rambai in recent times. Guess what, hours later, Nandu and Rana together announced in a new video that they are hitting cinemas on January 1st, as they end the video saying ‘Jai Balayya’.
