Akhanda 2 Makers Update On New Release Date

Fans of Nandamuri Balakrishna were eagerly waiting for the release of Akhanda 2 directed by Boyapati Sreenu. The film was supposed to hit theatres on December 5. However, the release was suddenly stopped on the same day, leaving fans confused and disappointed. Earlier, the production team said there were technical problems that could not be avoided. But reports suggested that a legal issue involving the production house 14 Reels Entertainment and Eros might also be a reason for the delay.

To clear the confusion, the team shared a new message on social media. They said that despite working very hard, unexpected situations came up, and they had no choice but to postpone the film. They also apologised to fans all over the world for the inconvenience and thanked Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu for supporting them during this difficult time. The makers assured that Akhanda 2 will arrive in theatres very soon with a fresh release date.

A day before this update, the production house had already informed that the movie could not be released as planned. They mentioned that they understood how disappointed fans must feel and promised to fix the issue as fast as possible.

Akhanda 2 is produced on a grand scale by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner. The project is presented by M. Tejaswini Nandamuri. Apart from Balakrishna in a powerful role, the film also stars Samyuktha as the female lead. Aadhi Pinisetty appears in an important character, while Harshali Malhotra also plays a key role.
