Akkineni Trio: Struck in The Waiting Game
This unusual situation has left a father and his two sons struggling with the same issue-waiting for the perfect release dates for their respective movies.
The Akkineni family is experiencing delays in their movie releases, causing confusion for their fans. Three generations of heroes, Naga Chaitanya, Akhil Akkineni, and Nagarjuna, are all facing release issues at the same time, though for different reasons.
Starting with Naga Chaitanya, his movie Thandel has not yet confirmed a release date. Fans hoped it would release around Christmas due to Chaitanya's success in December, but it seems uncertain as the movie may not have been submitted for censorship. Fans are now expecting a Sankranti release, but the production team hasn't provided any updates. If not, a Republic Day release in late January is another option.
Akhil Akkineni, meanwhile, is preparing for a makeover for a Pan-India movie produced by UV Creations. He is also considering a period drama under the direction of Murali Kishore and Annapurna Studios. However, no concrete plans for Akhil’s sixth film have been made until filming starts.
As for Nagarjuna, his movie Kubera with Shekhar Kammula also hasn't been scheduled for release. Nag was hoping for a Sankranti release to align with his past hits during that season, but it looks like the movie might be postponed to Shivratri. Nagarjuna is also avoiding clashing with Rajinikanth’s Kooli, which is still far from completion.
