Allu Sirish Seeks Police Help Over Loud Temple Music
Allu Sirish, who is the younger brother of actor Allu Arjun, shared his concern on X on September 27. He said that residents of his housing society in Shaikpet have been facing the problem for several days.
Telugu actor Allu Sirish has raised concerns over loud music being played at a Hanuman temple near his home in Hyderabad. The actor said that the loud sound has been disturbing residents late at night and has continued until 2 or 3 AM.
Allu Sirish, who is the younger brother of actor Allu Arjun, shared his concern on X on September 27. He said that residents of his housing society in Shaikpet have been facing the problem for several days.
According to Sirish, the Hanuman temple in Vinoba Nagar has been playing music at a very high volume. He claimed that the sound continues well past midnight, making it difficult for people living nearby to sleep peacefully.
The actor said that he had already contacted the Film Nagar Police Station about the issue. However, according to him, residents were earlier asked to wait until September 25 because of Ganesh Nimmajjanam celebrations.
Sirish said that even after the festival celebrations ended, the loud music continued. He also pointed out that elderly people, children and working professionals living in the area were being affected by the noise.
He requested the Hyderabad City Police to look into the matter and take necessary action. His post on social media soon received a response from the Hyderabad City Police.
The police department replied that the complaint had been forwarded to the Station House Officer of Film Nagar Police Station for necessary action. Sirish thanked the police for responding to his complaint.
According to reports, local police officials were also asked to inspect the area and speak to the temple organisers about reducing the sound level.
The issue has once again brought attention to noise pollution and the use of loudspeakers in residential areas. Rules related to loudspeakers in Hyderabad require permission for their use in public places, and violations can lead to action under the relevant laws.
Meanwhile, Allu Sirish continues to be active in the Telugu film industry. He made his acting debut with Gouravam in 2013 and later appeared in films including Kotha Janta, Srirastu Subhamastu, Okka Kshanam and Urvasivo Rakshasivo. He was last seen in the 2024 film Buddy.
