Anushka Shetty known for her powerful roles in Telugu and Tamil films is now set to make her debut in Malayalam cinema. She will be seen in the fantasy thriller Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer, directed by Rojin Thomas. The film also stars Jayasurya in the lead role.

On the occasion of Jayasurya’s birthday, the makers released the first look poster of the movie. In the poster, Jayasurya appears in a completely rugged look, with long hair and a thick beard. He plays the role of Kadamattathu Kathanar, a famous mythical character who was believed to be a sorcerer in the 9th century. The tagline on the poster reads, “The one who steals your time, your mind, your reality.” This has created huge curiosity among the audience.

Fans are now eager to see Anushka Shetty’s look from the film. Many are speculating whether she will also appear in a rustic and raw avatar.
