Akhil Akkineni is collaborating with Surender Reddy for his immediate next film titled Agent, which is still in the early stages of production. Agent is the costliest project in Akhil's career and he is pinning high hopes on the same. The shooting got underway recently and Akhil took part in the same. The Akkineni hero plays a full-on action oriented role in the film. He will be seen as a special forces officer in the big-budget actioner.

Earlier today, Akhil shared a snap of him alongside his director Surender Reddy. The duo is seen in a deep conversation. The background is serene and picturesque. Akhil captioned the photo "I live for these moments ! Discussing fire in peace. #AgentLoading," This picture and also the social media post is going viral on social media now.

Akhil is seen with long hair and thick beard in these snaps. He is seen having a fruitful conversation with Surender Reddy. Akkineni fans are in love with Akhil's looks in this snap. Akhil's manly and herculean looks seem to have struck a chord with Akkineni fans and common audiences alike.

Coming back to Agent, the film is being mounted on a massive scale. AK Entertainments are bankrolling the project on a massive budget. The film will feature Sakshi Vaidya in the female lead role. There are several reports claiming that Malayali superstars Mammootty and Fahadh Faasil are in talks for the antagonist role in Agent. But an official announcement on the same is keenly awaited. The regular shooting is underway now and the second schedule will be commencing in Hderabad in the next few weeks.

On a related note, Akhil's immediate next film, Most Eligible Bachelor is also gearing up for reealse. There are rumors that the film is up for OTT release but the unit is yet to clarify on the same. Further developments in this regard will determine the mode of the film's release.The film is directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and it features Pooja Hegde in the female lead role. Aha Video had acquired the post theatrical digital rights of the film a long while back.
