Once again during the promotions of the film Jyo Achyutananda, director and actor Srinivas Avasarala revealed that he struggled a lot with the casting of the film.
"Actually many heroes approached me after success of Oohalu Gusagusalade and asked me to meet them once my next script is ready. But when I said that it's a two-heroes films, they have backed off in last minute. None came forward to sign", says Avasarala.
He stated that first Nara Rohith accepted the film and then they spoke to Naga Shourya for the role. However the director is adamant to cast a fresh face as a heroine but they have ended up with Regina due to producer's pressure.
Jyo Achyutananda is hitting cinemas on September 9th.
