Nandamuri Balakrishna is known to be Directors/Producers Hero all these years. From now, He will be remembered as Distributors Hero as well.
'NTR Kathanayakudu' failed miserable at the Box Office inspite of festival release. Distributors had collectively lost as much as Rs 50 crore with Part 1. Balakrishna gave an assurance to the Distributors that they needn't worry as long as he is there. Keeping his promise, The Actor-turned-Politician offered Distribution Rights of 'NTR Mahanayakudu' to all Part 1 Distributors for nominal prices. By doing so, Balayya reimbursed 1/3rd of the losses of 'NTR Kathanayakudu'. He even offered to share 40 percent of the revenue with the Distributors. If 'NTR Mahanayakudu' hits the bull's eye, All the Distributors could completely recover from the hefty losses and even manage good profits.
Generally, Assurances given by Producers after the delivering disaster won't be honoured and nobody could do anything about it as it's business. In contrast, Balakrishna came forward to make huge sacrifice in the interest of the Distributors. That's so nice of him...let's only wish he tastes success with 'NTR Mahanayakudu'!
