Balakrishna Remembers His Younger Days During 'Akhanda' 50 Days Celebration!

Nandamuri Balakrishna's mass masala entertainer 'Akhanda' has completed its 50 day run at the box office. On Thursday night, the team of 'Akhanda' went to Sudarshan 35mm theatres and celebrated along with the fans. The senior hero spoke about this film, his relationship with Boyapati Sreenu and many other things.

He said that coming to Sudharshan theatre reminded him of the days when he used to arrive at Ramakrishna Studios regularly for giving tiffin box to his father. He even remembered the time when he came there for Samara Simha Reddy's 100 days function. He stated that the film's success is because of the entire team's effort and the 'Aghora' role in 'Akhanda' was done by keeping his dad's roles in mind. People arrived to theatres despite Covid and the film was successful in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Maharashtra and Orissa regions too. He said that he is proud of this film and added that his friendship with Boyapati Sreenu is priceless. He is reportedly grateful to have such a huge fanbase and claimed that he is inspired from his father. He said that the god arrives like 'Akhanda' when the Hindu society or culture is under threat. He congratulated every team member and wished for the welfare of the film industry. Balakrishna gave away shields to the film's exhibitors. He finally asked them to watch it on Hotstar as it is arriving on 6 PM this Friday.

Boyapati Sreenu started off his speech with a huge 'Jai Balayya' roar and thanked all the Nandamuri fans. He said that the audience proved that they will encourage good cinema at all times and claimed that the victory of this film is the industry victory. He dedicated the film's success to legendary actor NTR.

Miryala Ravinder Reddy who produced this film spoke about the film completing 50 days run at the box office. He thanked the director, hero and fans for making it a success. Along with the film's team, Nizam distributors Sirish Reddy, Sudharshan theatre owner Bala Govindaraju, manager Balu and others were present.

Music for 'Akhanda' is composed by Thaman while Pragya Jaiswal is the heroine. Poorna, Srikanth and others played key roles.
