With things slipping out of hand, the actress appeared on Instagram live and gave a clarification on the news.

Going into detail, Miss Universe 2000 pageant Lara Dutta's profile was spotted in a dating app. This drove the fans crazy and started a meme fest on social media. A few netizens took a step ahead and shared the memes on her social media account. The issue reached a point that she had to clarify this.

Lara Dutta said she is unable to answer people on her fake account in some dating app. I am doing this live so that everyone will get clarity on the matter. I'm not on any dating app. My news feed was full of memes and messages on my profile in a dating app, she said.

I am not against dating apps. They create a good platform to meet others. But I want to clarify that I am not using any such apps. Please don't use such fake apps in dating apps, Lara Dutta said on her Instagram live on Monday.
