AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu lashed out at party MP Muttamsetty Srinivasa Rao for leaking the letter sent by Union Minister Jayant Sinha to Media. In response to the MP's query seeking clarification on Special Category Status, Mr.Sinha conveyed through his letter neither 16th Finance Commission nor Niti Ayog recommended such provision to AP.
Sources say, Union Minister Sujana Chaudhary appealed Andhra MPs not to cross swords with BJP during the Parliamentary Party meeting at his residence on Wednesday. By afternoon, Jayant Sinha's letter was leaked to Media.
Chandrababu Naidu opined that leak of letter has done damage to both TDP & State Government. He informed MPs that TDP is in no mood to end the alliance with BJP any time soon and hence warned them against taking any hasty decisions. He asked them to restrain from making allegations against NDA Government for the sake of development of state in the next 3 years.
