New Twist: Uyyalawada Is Almost Same

Update: 2017-05-05 12:57 GMT
Megastar Chiranjeevi proved his stamina with his comeback film 'Khaidi No. 150' and he is getting ready for his next film 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy'.   It is known that this film is based on the life of freedom fighter with the same name.  Senior writers Paruchuri brothers have prepared the script after working on it for more than a year.  As the script is almost locked, Surender Reddy team is getting ready for the regular shoot from August now.

At this juncture, the film unit got a new doubt.  Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy story is almost similar to Tamil freedom fighter Veera Pandia Kattabomman. Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy fought wiith British rulers but his trusted aides of Narasimha Reddy backstabbed him and helped the British to catch him in the Nallamala forest area.  Britishers hanged him to death later.   Not only that.. they have hanged his head to the fort for 30 years so that no one can revolt against them.

Similarly Kattabomman also revolted against Britishers but he was also backstabbed by his own men. He was tortured for 15 days and finally hanged him to death.  There are several popular stories on his life and heroic acts.  Even movies were made on his life. As life of both the legends was almost similar, the film unit said to have focused on the different aspects of Uyyalawada's life.  Director Surender Reddy, Paruchuri brothers.. and few other writers are conducting research on the different aspect of his life now.
