CM KCR Gets A Special Surprise From Nagarjuna!

Akkineni Nagarjuna decided to give a special surprise to Telangana Chief Minister KCR on the occasion of his birthday. Nagarjuna appreciated MP Santosh's Green India Challenge when the latter arrived as a guest for the Bigg Boss show. He later claimed that he will be adopting a village as a part of this challenge and now he kept his word by making it official on KCR's birthday.

As a part of protecting the environment and giving something back to mother nature, King Nagarjuna adopted 1080 acres of forest area. He adopted such a huge forest area located near Chengicherla which is in the outskirts of Hyderabad. He named it after his father late Akkineni Nageshwar Rao and Nag will be developing it into an urban forest.

The foundation stone was placed on Thursday and this event was attended by MP Santosh and Nagarjuna's family members including Akkineni Amala, Akkineni Venkat, Naga Suseela, Sushanth and others. On this occasion, Nagarjuna donated 2 crores to the forest officials which will be used for the development of the forest area.

The Chengicherla forest block is located on the way of Hyderabad – Warangal national highly. Despite the increasing human population, the forest area extends to 1682 acres and Nag bought 1080 acres from it. The officials said that this forest park will be resourceful to people living who are in areas like Cherlapally, Chengicherla, ECIL and others.

Nagarjuna took to Twitter and shares the pictures. He wrote, “Many happy returns of the day to chief minister Kcr garu! Happy to announce the adoption and laying the foundation for the ANR URBAN PARK in chengicherla forest area by the Akkineni family.
