Varun Tej's hit run at the box office came to an end with 'Ghani'. This sports drama which came on 8th April has bagged a negative talk right from the morning shows and the buzz was quite low too. This had a huge impact on the film's collections were very low compared to Varun Tej's recent form.
Reports suggest that the film managed to gain a share of four crores in the Telugu states which is a lot less compared to his previous projects. Varun Tej put a lot of effort into this project. He underwent a lot of training in boxing and even developed an athletic body. His hard work was seen on the screen but the film did not meet the expectations.
