The situations in Ukraine have escalated quickly with Russiaâs nature. Russia has launched a deadly war against European nature making it tough to live there for the people. More than the Ukrainian nationals, things went wrong from other nationals like Indians who go there for education.
A situation had arisen in Ukraine forcing India to ramp up the evacuation process to airlift the Indians stuck there. While the efforts are going on under Operation Ganga, the Indian Air Force also joined the force.
As a piece of good news, as many as 629 Indians were airlifted in aircraft that belong to the IAF. The three vehicles safely reached the Hindan airbase in Uttar Pradesh, from where they took off. The transport aircraft came from three nations.
The Indian Air Force took to Twitter to share information on three aircraft landing in India. The forces also said that the vehicles have reached India in the past 24 hours and besides airlifting Indian, the aircraft also carried relief material that weighed 16.5 tonnes to Poland, Romania, and Slovakia.

It has to be mentioned here that the Indian government had started a new mission named Operation Ganga for the safe evacuation of Indians stuck in Ukraine. Air India started running services to bring the Indians and later the IAF and other airlines joined the force.
As the Ukraine airspace has been shut in the wake of the Russian invasion, the flights are being run between India and nations that are near Ukraine. The Indian Embassy and Ministry of External Affairs have been constantly guiding the Indians about safe places and where they should go.
Right now, the MEA is busy making arrangements for the Indians stuck in Kharkiv and Sumy to reach a safe place so that they can reach India from there. It is said that buses might be arranged for Indians. More details on how the Ministry will work on this are awaited.
