Is Balayya risking too much?

Formal Launch of Nandamuri Balakrishna's 100th Movie based on Gauthamiputra Satakarni will be formally launched on the auspicious Ugadi day at Amaravati. The pooja ceremony is expected to begin at 10:30 AM.

Reportedly, Director Krish and First Frame Entertainments were jointly producing the historical subject with a mammoth budget of Rs 50 crore. Makers believe such a huge budget is necessary as Lavish Sets must be erected and High End Graphics would be used to thrill the audience.

Trade Circles say, Rs 50 crore for Balayya's film is a huge gamble. In Nata Sinha's career, Only 'Simha' and 'Legend' managed to cross the Rs 30 crore and Rs 40 crore mark. Even his Sankranthi release 'Dictator' managed just close to Rs 20 crore.

On the other hand, 'Kanche' is the highest budget film (Rs 20 crore) in Krish's career. Even though his films always received accolades, They weren't able to conquer the Box Office. Taking all these factors into consideration, A Rs 50 crore budget film is a huge risk.
