Hollywood Director Steven Spielberg's 'The BFG' which is jointly produced by Reliance and Disney releases on July 29th in Indian languages. Jagapathi Babu has dubbed for the Telugu version of this fantasy flick without any pay package.
Jagapathi Babu: 'I didn't charge a single penny as my remuneration to dub for a role in this movie. If I was able to pose for a photograph with Steven Spielberg, Then I would consider it as a huge remuneration. This is the best dubbing opportunity that has come my way so far. I'm very happy to be part it'.
However, JB clarifies his dream of a photograph with the Hollywood Legend is yet to be fulfilled.
Not many knew that Directors & Producers didn't allow Jagapathi Babu to dub in the beginning of his career. A dubbing artiste was hired to dub for his role. It was only Ram Gopal Varma who identified the good voice and mass image in him. There after, He began dubbing for all of his films and Today he even got associated with the film directed by World's greatest filmmaker.
