KCR orders to buy 1650 Innova vehicles

Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao called for improving the quality of police work at par with the international level.The Telangana Chief Minister, who held a gathering with police authorities at the Secretariat recently has additionally propelled a few new activities to modernize the police power in the new state.
 
KCR gave nod to replace all old Rakshak vehicles and motorcycles. He ordered officials to buy 1.650 Toyota Innovas and 1.500 high-end bikes to ensure that the police can reach a point of crime Located 10 minutes from anywhere in town.
 
He gave the go ahead for the construction of a modern complex to house the Police Commissionerate of Hyderabad on an eight acre land at Banjara Hills.He ordered officials to completely change the dress code of the police personnel in the state. He also ordered the officials to arrange the CCTV cameras to cover the entire area in twin cities.
 
Minister for Home Nayani Narasimha Reddy, DGP Anurag Sharma and top police officials participated in the meeting. According to sources the new changes will come to existence form August 15, and from then the cops will appear by wearing a dim blue uniform.
