Casting Couch issue has now took a drastic turn. Those Film Celebs who remained tightlipped all these days have gained voice now. They have been finding fault with the Movie Artist Association (MAA) for dealing the Sri Reddy issue in a wrong manner.
Manchu Vishnu wrote a letter to MAA expressing his anguish. He questioned, 'What right does MAA have to impose ban on Sri Reddy who isn't a member & Why did it revoke the ban later?'.
On the condition that none of the 900 Members of MAA should work with Sri Reddy, Vishnu reacted: 'My Father, Myself, My Brother and My Sister are members of MAA. Are we consulted before imposing the ban? On an emergency basis, The ban was lifted within short time. Your decisions has done enough damage to the Industry'.
Vishnu questioned are there any guidelines for the Actors. Saying that Casting Couch issue has been disgrace to TFI, He proposed setting up of a grievance cells by Film Chamber instead of MAA.
Couple of days ago, Vishnu expressed his displeasure on the kind of language used in TV Channel debates. 'My prayers for all having their 15 minutes fame on TV; Politicians or actors or wannabe actors; Kids watch the TV, restrain your language and action. Please!,' he wrote.
