Senior actor Mohan Babu's latest film 'Gayatri' released on February 9 and it has received a decent response from the audience. As the movie is running successfully at the box office, 'Gayatri' team held a success meet and Mohan Babu made serious comments during his speech.
Mohan Babu said that he is deeply pained as a producer because of the piracy. "My heart is aching with the piracy. Journalists and majority of the common audience know the difficulties faced by the producer. I'm speaking about this because some people will at least understand the gravity of the situation. Piracy print of our film was kept on the websites on the day of release itself. I received calls about the piracy from the US. The people who are resorting to piracy will surely have a mother and father. If they are married they will have wife and kids. If they harm others, they will have to pay the price here itself. If somebody tries to harm others, the hell is right here. They may be temporarily good but they have to pay the price ultimately."
Mohan Babu requested the audience not to watch piracy. He said how the country will move forward when there are sick-minded people who are pirating the film and the audience who are watching it? He questioned how can the industry survive with this kind of things?
While responding to the political punch dialogues in 'Gayatri', he said that they come up with such dialogues just by getting inspired from the news in TV channels and papers and clarified that he doesn't belong to any party. He said that he will reveal about his political journey when the time comes. He requested the audience to watch their film as it gives a right message how a girl has shown his boyfriend a right path. He said that their film doesn't have any lip-locks. He opined that lip-locks are a private affair and they are not meant for public display.
