Recently, the governments of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka has given a relief to the film industry by giving permissions to the filmmakers to resume the post-production formalities within the state. With this, the Telugu film industry also expected the same from the Telangana government. But cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav's latest comments have given a shock to them.
In the latest interview, Talasani said that resuming shootings might not be possible in a short time.
For the past few days, we are hearing that theatres and film shootings will be resumed with proper safety measures. But Talasani has put end to all those speculations and said that the government decided not to reopen theatres for 3 to 4 months and film shootings for a couple of months. Even indoor TV shootings won't be permitted anytime soon as the crew members like light boys will have to travel to the shooting spot within the city, which is highly risky during these days.
While the filmmakers are making necessary arrangements for restating the shootings, government decision can indeed give sleepless nights to them.
