Puri Jagannadh Shares An Emotional Video On Cinema Theaters

The film industry is one of the sectors that has been badly affected by the pandemic. Mainly, the theatre business, the focal point for the highest revenue in the sector, was strongly hit by the coronavirus induced lockdown.

After seven months of lockdown, the Cinema halls have reopened with 50% occupancy. Even the big screens are opened, the audience are staying away from the cinemas in fear of the virus.

In this scenario, the Kannada film industry released a video in which the tragic situation of the exhibitors waiting for the mass crowds is being displayed. However, the video ends with a hope that people will flock to theatres to watch movies adhering to new rules and regulations.

Puri Jagannath tweeted this video with the caption- "I got tears after watching this. Those days should come again. We should hear the whistles, papers should fly high and the shirts should be torn..Cinema theatre is our mother".
