Ramyakrishna wasn't the first choice for Sivagami's role in 'Baahubali' franchise. Initially, Makers approached Sridevi for this dynamic character but they backed out after Boney Kapoor demanded huge pay cheque & share in profits. That's when, Producer Shobu Yarlagadda met Ramyakrishna and sought bulk dates. The Actress, however, turned down the offer because of her other commitments.
After few days, Shobu contacted Ramyakrishna yet again and asked her to take a final decision after listening to the script. Minutes after the narration began, Ramyakrishna realized the importance for her character and how big the film is going to be. She has given her consent to work for 'Baahubali' immediately.
