Young hero Vijay Devarakonda's last outing 'World Famous Lover' which released on Valentine's day turned out to be a nightmare for everyone involved with the film. The movie ended up as a big disaster leaving the buyers in huge losses. People criticized the film badly and the trolling did not stop even when it got out on the digital platform.
In a recent interview, Vijay tried to analyze what went wrong with 'World Famous Lover'. He said, "Story-telling is different on paper and on-screen. People are not prepared for a story like Dear Comrade. When it comes to World Famous Lover, it was great on paper but we f** it up in execution. But, the film excited me when I heard." He went on to add, "The image and love of the people sometimes come in the way and blocks you from making some films. It is said."
Coming to the current status, Vijay is working on Puri Jagannadh's Telugu-Hindi bilingual tentatively titled 'Fighter'. The team completed two schedules in Mumbai before the Corona outbreak. This film is expected to hit the screens during the Dusshera season this year.
