Tamil Superstar Suriya, who has a great fan following in Kerala and Telugu states, decided to give his own voice in Telugu to Gang, his latest movie. His film is releasing for Sankranthi and wished all the other films all the best too.

But then he mispronounced, Pawan Kalyan's Agnyathavaasi as Agnanavaasi and the social media is trying to correct the actor from then on. Many memes are being circulated as well, as anti-fans have taken this opportunity to tease the fans.

Suriya at the pre-release function last night, wished his movie will be a good hit among the Sankranthi releases.

He said, " I have dubbed in Telugu for the first time" and asked people to forgive him, if there is a Tamil flavour to his voice. Also, thanked his voice in Telugu, Srinivasa Murthy for making him close to the masses and hoped that this will be a novelty to the film.

On the other hand in Tamil Nadu, politicians have made it their duty to publicise the movie by making some or the other controversy. While Sodakku, released long back, AIADMK politicians decided to make it a controversy saying that the song is offensive to serving politicians.

After Mersal, this movie is also getting some publicity with the controversy and the director, Vignesh Shivan joked about it.
