20-days Kashmir Schedule of Sarileru Neekevvaru was wrapped up successfully by Anil Ravipudi. The Cast & Crew returned to AP few weeks ago and even begun the second schedule recently.
Team Sarileru Neekevvaru was fortunate enough to complete the Kashmir portions in the first schedule itself. Considering the present situation prevailing in Jammu & Kashmir, It would have been really tough for Makers to obtain necessary permissions and even to shoot scenes had if Kashmir Schedule got delayed for any reason.
After the Union Government tabled the Bills leading to scrapping of Article 370 and Article 35A by placing prominent leaders in J&K under house arrest and imposing Section 144, Filmmakers need to give up hopes on obtaining permissions for shooting in the valley anytime soon. Even Centre had no clue when the situation will be back to normalcy in Jammu & Kashmir. If the move of NDA Government restores peace, Then obtaining permissions mayn't be impossible but how long it gonna take would be the key.
Sarileru Neekevvaru would have certainly missed the Sankranthi schedule had if the Kashmir Schedule got disturbed. Cast & Crew could have breathed a sigh of relief realising how lucky they were to wrap up those portions at an appropriate time.
