The government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced abnormally suppressive restrictions on the theatrical industry in the state. The cinema admission prices have been capped at Rs 20 in several Panchayats in the state and unable to bear the expenses, many cinema halls have shut operations.
Tollywood is now looking to enter the good books of the government one way or the other. Tollywood bigwigs are eager to get in touch with the chief minister YS Jagan and find an amicable solution to the whole fiasco.
Now, noted Telugu actor, Bramhaji has come up with a witty tweet pertaining to the situation in Andhra Pradesh.
"@ysjagan Sirr.. andhariki varalu isthunnaru.. papam theatre owners ki.. cinema vaallaki help cheyyandi.. itlu Mee nanna gari abhimaani," Bramhaji wrote. The fact that Bramhaji wrote that he is an ardent follower of Jagan's father YS Rajasekhar Reddy is catching everyone's attention now.
Also, Bramhaji has a very good point to make. It would be next to impossible to run cinema halls across the state with such abnormally low ticket fares. Will the state government react positively to these requests? We have to wait and see.
