Tollywood & Kollywood have done equally well when it comes to the Highest Grossing South Indian Films. While both these Industries shared 5 films each in the Top 10, Neither Sandalwood nor Mollywood could make their presence felt.
Among the Heroes, Its Rajinikanth who rules the roost with as many as three films in Top 10. None of the other Stars managed to have at least two films. Prabhas, Vikram, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Vijay, Allu Arjun and Pawan Kalyan settled with one each.
Among the Directors, Shankar have a slight edge over Rajamouli inspite of having 'Baahubali' to his credit. While Shankar have three films in Top 10, Rajamouli managed just two films so far. Koratala Siva, KS Ravikumar, Atlee, Boyapati and Trivikram have one each.
