After scoring a blockbuster with comedy caper F2, Varun Tej opted to do a negatively shaded protagonist role in the film Valmiki. Directed by Harish Shankar, this film is all set to release on the 20th of this month. Tamil actor Atharvaa Murali is playing the other lead role in this movie.
According to the buzz in the industry, Varun killed it in the role of a gangster. Apparently, his comic timing in a negatively shaded character will be the major highlight of the film. But it seems that Atharvaa looked like a misfit for the role and the actor simply struggled to fit into the shoes of his character.
The sources claimed that even his dialogue delivery in Rayalaseema slang was not uttered in a correct way. They opined that if anything that went wrong in the film, that was the casting of Atharvaa. Anyways, we have to wait for 10 more days to gauge the performance of the actor in the film.
