Star writer-director Trivikram Srinivas always follows certain templates. Most of his movies have two heroines, the title always start with 'A', there will be a comedy fight, most of his second halves will be confined to a big house and many more. Interestingly, most of his movies with have a grandfather role.
In 'Athadu', we have Nasser playing the grandfather's role which is very crucial. Kota Srinivasa Rao did a comedy granddad's role in 'Khaleja'. Boman Irani played the grandfather's role in 'Attarintiki Daredi' and it is this character that is the base for the entire story. We have seen Sachin Khedekar playing the grandfather's role in 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' and it was a very meaty role.
Sources say that #SSMB28 will have versatile actor Prakash Raj playing this role. The 'Pokiri' actor was seen as Mahesh's father in many movies and did villain roles too. It will be the first time that we are going to see him as the grandfather of Mahesh. The official news regarding this news is yet to come out.
