After a blockbuster like 'Mahanati', Keerthy Suresh got huge stardom in South India. There were accolades from all over the country on her performance. Her name was even attached to 'RRR' few months back but turned out to be a rumour. She got an offer to work in Bollywood too which she took but the Malayali actress did not get good offers in Telugu.

Keerthy Suresh's upcoming film 'Penguin' is becoming a hot topic now. She is playing the role of a pregnant woman who is search for her lost son. The film's trailer and teaser have caught everyone's attention. The film was supposed to have a theatrical release but the makers opted for an OTT release because of the theatres shut down. It is getting streamed on Prime Video from 19th June. It is a mystery thriller which deals with a psycho who kills children. Karthik Subbaraj produced this flick which is releasing in three South Indian languages.

Everyone is wondering why this film opted for an OTT release instead of waiting for theatres to reopen. Many are saying that OTT is the best option for this type of Dark thriller. Films of this genre will attract only multiplex audience and it is a bad idea to wait for this crisis to end. Theatres will not get the same level of engagement for at least a year and even if it does, masses may not watch this movie. This why experts are claiming that it is a wise decision to release this film on Amazon Prime Video.
