S. S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise remains one of the greatest achievements in Indian cinema. The two films completely changed Indian filmmaking. Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion broke major box-office records and became global hits.

Now, the director brings back the magic with Baahubali: The Epic which is a special rerelease that combines both films into one grand movie. The visuals and sound have been improved by giving fans a fresh theatre experience.

As part of the promotion, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Rajamouli appeared together for an interview. They shared some behind-the-scenes memories that made everyone laugh.

Prabhas discussed the famous courtroom sequence from the second film. He shared how that emotional scene was not shot at once but in different parts spread over time. Prabhas explained, “We filmed the scene of me and Devasena entering the court first. Later, we shot the Head shot moment of the judgment after three days. After almost five years, we filmed the part where we walk out again at where the Dandalayya song comes from. Even though it looks continuous on screen, it was shot at different times.”

With Baahubali: The Epic returning to cinemas, audiences are thrilled to relive the adventure on the big screen.
