Nandamuri Balakrishna Says Acting Is Beyond Laughs, Tears

Nandamuri Balakrishna doesn’t attend many events, but last night was his day, and he stood for his cult fans, and he amazed everyone with his stunning speech at the Akhanda 2 pre-release event, which happened in Hyderabad.

Balayya said acting is not just about being someone making laugh and cry, but it is going into someone's soul. He even compared himself to mercury, saying he can change into any shape for a role. He talked about discipline, respecting the craft, and he has appreciated the team members and the technical team for the amazing work.

The night wasn’t all fun, though. Balakrishna took a minute to address his fans about something serious. Earlier this year, a few fans landed in trouble for doing an animal sacrifice during a film release. Balayya didn’t sugarcoat it, he told them straight to stop. “Don’t harm animals. They also have a life like us,” he said. Social media seemed relieved, honestly. Many people said it was a message that needed to be said out loud and hoped the fans would actually take it seriously this time.
