BJP To Bring New Twist To TDP And Janasena Seats?

It is known that the opposition parties BJP, TDP, and Janasena came under one roof to form a grand alliance as they did in 2014. The seat sharing was also confirmed with the TDP getting the major share of seats followed by Janasena and BJP. BJP was allocated 6 MP seats, four more than Janasena.

It has to be mentioned here that the BJP's entry led to a change in Janasena’s seats. Janasena had to sacrifice seats to accommodate the BJP. Now it is said that the list might change with the BJP. A big debate is going on about this.

TDP already announced two lists of candidates for the upcoming elections. The candidates were announced for the MLA segments. However, the TDP leadership did not touch the MP seats and the party is yet to announce the MP candidates.

It is said that the BJP is the reason behind TDP not announcing the MP seats. Reports say that the BJP is eyeing a few MP seats. TDP is in a position where it cannot say no to the BJP. With both parties yet to come to a common opinion the seats were not announced.

It is said that TDP wants to give Anakapalli and Vizianagaram seats to the BJP. However, there is a talk that the BJP wants Amalapuram and Visakhapatnam seats instead.

Not just the MP seats, the same is the case with the MLA seats too. It is said that BJP is eyeing a few MLA seats of the TDP and Janasena party. Looking at the current trend it appears that the seat reshuffle is inevitable due to the BJP.

The AP BJP wing led by Daggubati Purandeswari is said to be busy finalizing the candidates along with the seats they would contest. Once the list is prepared, they would be announced and it would not be a wonder if TDP and Janasena compromise.
