It is known that Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in connection with the AP Skill Development scam. The CID department which is probing the case is saying that the former Chief Minister has a role in this and hence he was arrested.

Chandrababu Naidu is serving his remand period in the Rajahmundry Central Jail. Now he faced a big blow with the Court as the ACB court postponed the next hearing in the petitions he filed to the 19th of this month. He moved the court seeking bail in the case saying that he was arrested in the case despite no evidence against him. The TDP boss also mentioned the political vendetta behind this.

However, the ACB court postponed the further hearing in the case to the 19th of this month. Mentioning the quash petition filed by Chandrababu Naidu in the High Court, the justice said that giving an interim bail in the case would impact the quash petition.

This is another blow faced by Chandrababu Naidu in the case. A few days back, his petition to remain in house remand was quashed. The arguments placed by his counsel were not considered by the Court and his petition was quashed.

Days after that, the petition was postponed. The ACB Court postponed the hearing to a few days as the quash petition he filed in the High Court is still pending. Having said that the ACB court issued directives to the CID to file a counter in the issue.

Looking at the developments in the case, it appears that Chandrababu Naidu will not have any relief soon. First, he was arrested and sent to remand. His petition to remain in house remand was also canceled. Now, the hearing of the petition was postponed.
