I Could Only See Peddi, Not Ram Charan: Chiranjeevi

The makers of Peddi recently organized a grand Mega Blockbuster Event to celebrate the film's phenomenal success. Megastar Chiranjeevi attended the event as the chief guest and congratulated the entire team for delivering one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.

Addressing the gathering, Chiranjeevi thanked the audience and fans for their unwavering support. He said, "From the past to the present, our fans have remained disciplined and loyal. Their enthusiasm and love have never changed. I have come here today as a guest, as a senior actor, and as someone who deeply loves cinema. I wanted to personally thank every audience member, fan, and member of the film's team who contributed to the success of Peddi. Films like this should be made. The industry should prosper, and theatres should continue to thrive. Peddi has become a shining example of that success."

Praising director Buchi Babu Sana, Chiranjeevi said, "While watching the film, I felt completely immersed in its world. I connected with the characters and their struggles. Buchi Babu chose a powerful, emotional, and motivational story and believed that Ram Charan could do justice to it. He brought the emotions of rural life beautifully onto the screen. My congratulations to him. I would also like to congratulate Sukumar garu for introducing such a talented director to Telugu cinema. Satish Kilaru garu deserves special appreciation for bringing the director's vision to life on such a grand scale."

Speaking about Ram Charan's performance, Chiranjeevi said, "As a fellow actor and a senior member of the industry, I can confidently say that Ram Charan has achieved maturity in every aspect of actin As a father, I am extremely proud. We saw his brilliant performance in Rangasthalam and thought a role of that caliber would take years to come again. But within three years, he received another remarkable role like Peddi. Watching the film, I did not see Ram Charan at all. I only saw Peddi. He completely transformed himself into the character."

He further added, "Peddi made us laugh, cry, feel inspired, and become emotionally connected. Charan's performance was extraordinary. With just his eyes, he conveyed emotions and brought tears to the audience. That is true acting. He has shown complete maturity and perfection as an actor. People may or may not receive awards, but there is no greater award than earning love and appreciation from audiences. Today, people are praising his performance as National Award-worthy, and that itself is a huge achievement."

Chiranjeevi also spoke about Ram Charan's dedication and physical transformation for the film. "I witnessed his hard work every day. He exercised in the morning, shot for the film, and worked out again in the evening. During shooting, he suffered an eye injury and required eight stitches. I was deeply worried when I saw the photographs. Yet he never stepped back. At that moment, I remembered my father telling me that I would understand a father's fear only when my own son became a hero and faced such risks. Charan's injury reminded me of those words," he assed

The Megastar also expressed happiness about Ram Charan receiving the title 'New Age Megastar.' He said, "Just yesterday, Charan participated in an event with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was referred to as the New Age Megastar. It filled me with immense joy. The happiness a father feels watching his child grow is beyond words. Today, I am experiencing that pride completely."
