Day 1 Box Office: How Did Daaku Maharaj start?

Nandamuri Balakrishna had another one of his customer Sankranthi films in the form of Daku Maharaj, which released in theatre on January 12. The film opened on a very strong note at the global box office and here is a look at the opening day statistics of the film.

As per the latest box of his reports, the Balakrishna film opened in the range of ₹56 crore gross worldwide on its first day. This includes a mega start in the USA, as the film has reportedly crossed over $1 million on its first day, including the premieres.

The most significant contribution in the Telugu states came from the mass driven RayalaSeema belt. The film opened with Rs 7 crore gross here. This is followed by a strong start in the Nizam region as well as the film collected in the range of ₹6 crore gross here.

Balakrishna has managed to gain the attention of the Telugu audience with consecutive good films, and this is procreating in the good box office numbers that are being put up by his new films.
