Trade pundits predict that it collected a gross of 180 crores worldwide. The first place is occupied by 'RRR' with 223 crores while 'Baahubali 2' stands in 2nd with 217 crores. 'Kalki 2898 AD' which arrived with hiked ticket rates failed to beat these two Rajamouli movies. However, Prabhas surpassed his own film 'Salaar' which minted over 158 crores on the first day.
'Leo' got 142.7 crores while 'Saaho' collected 130 crores. Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' minted 129 crores worldwide. 'Kalki 2898 AD' managed to beat all these films but couldn't cross the two Rajamouli films which created a benchmark. In India, this high-budget action drama collected 95 crores net in India while the gross amounted to 115 crores.
The collections in Telugu states were 64.5 crores while it got 24 crores in the Hindi belt. It got 4 crores in Tamil and 2.2 crores in Malayalam while the collections in Karnataka were 30 lakhs. Let us wait and see how much more it earns by the end of its first weekend.
