Whenever something new from a big project comes out, certain people make time to find flaws in it. They decide to make fun of it and troll the movie on the internet. The similar thing is happening to 'Kalki 2898 AD' as well. The official trailer came out recently and it looked fantastic. The visuals looked staggering and the makers introduced us to all the main characters along with revealing a bit of the story.

While everything is perfect, there is one drawback in the Telugu version of the trailer which is the dubbing. Most of the actors dubbed for themselves. Even Amitabh Bachchan gave his own voice in Telugu but there are no faults in his diction. But it is Deepika Padukone's dubbing that is getting a lot of criticism on social media. The way she pronounced a few Telugu words were quite bad. Also, the negative character other than Kamal Haasan too spoke broken Telugu throughout the trailer.

While the dubbing of Deepika is a bit disappointing, one needs to realize that she is not well-versed in Telugu and did not even do one single Telugu movie in the last 17 years. The language is completely alien to her and she needs to be appreciated for giving it a try in Telugu. Also, one needs to understand that it is just a trailer and not the entire movie. Nag Ashwin looked after everything with utmost care and he will not ignore the dubbing part.

Such perfectionists will make sure that the dubbing is done in a proper way. There are chances of him bringing a dubbing artist as well. For now, the netizens are trolling the dubbing of Deepika and a few other non-local actors just like the way the North audience trolled Prabhas' voice in movies like 'Saaho' and 'Radhe Shyam'. Let us wait and see what steps the makers take in order to avoid this issue when the movie releases on 27th June.
