Sankranthi 2025: Dil Raju Dominating, But Mythri Not Leaving?

The 2025 Sankranti season is turning out to be a very eventful one for Tollywood. As many as three notable films have already aligned for release this festival season Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaj, and Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vastunnam.

The interesting thing about these three films is that Dil Raju is producing two of them Game Changer and Sankranthiki Vastunnam. As for the third film, Daaku Maharaj, he is again associated with this as he is releasing it in Nizam. Essentially, speaking, Dil Raju is associated with all three of the Sankranti films that were lined up for release.

However, this is when Mythri Movie Makers have thrown a big curve ball as they are set to enter the Sankranti race themselves. Earlier, Mythri planned to release Ajith’s Good Bag Ugly during this Sankranthi season but that didn’t happen due to delay in production.

Subsequently, Mythri is now lining up Robinhood with Nithiin for the Sankranthi season. Apparently, this film which was originally lined up for release during the Christmas season is now being pushed to Sankranthi.

While one reason could be that Mythri want to elongate Pushpa 2’s run by holding back Robinhood, the other could be that they want to have their stakes in the Sankranthi seals instead of leaving open ground to Dil Raju.

It is heard that Robinhood could be slotted right in between the three Sankranthi films this festival season and given Mythri’s hold, they’re projected to give it a big release. As a result, Dil Raju’s outright dominance this festival season could be partly subsided by Mythri bringing in Robinhood.

An official announcement on the release date is set to be unveiled very soon and more details will be followed post that.
