Another Disappointing Weekend At The Ticket Window!
It recorded deficits on Sunday which explains a lot. Even Vennela Kishore's 'Chaari 111' too was rejected by the audience.
Tollywood box office disappointed everyone for the second week in a row. The situation is so dire that a lot of shows are getting cancelled and the exhibitors are scratching their heads not knowing what to do. The position of parking and canteen people is even worse. Mega hero Varun Tej's 'Operation Valentine' arrived last weekend and many thought that the revenues would be decent despite the talk but it turned out to be a disaster. It recorded deficits on Sunday which explains a lot. Even Vennela Kishore's 'Chaari 111' too was rejected by the audience.
Despite all the fuss from RGV, 'Vyuham' went unnoticed. This political drama which turned out to be nothing more than a spoof got meagre collections. 'Bhootadham Bhaskar Narayana' got a decent talk but the collections are disastrous. The movie is not worth watching in theatres by spending money according to many. 2-3 more small films came out but all of them were ignored. The same thing happened on 23rd February also.
Movies like 'Bramayugam', 'Sundaram Master', 'Siddhartha Roy', 'Masthu Shades Unnayi Ra' and 'Tappinchuku Tiruguvaadu Dhanyudu' all of them failed to impress the audience. Among all of them 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona' got decent collections. Sundeep Kishan's film got mixed talk but the lack of good releases after that worked in its favour. It turned out to be a decent hit in February. With over 14 days passing by, the distributors are worrying heavily. Movies are like 'Bhimaa', 'Premalu' and 'Gaami' are arriving this weekend and they are hoping that they will bring people to theatres. Let us see what happens.
