Strong Emotion Behind Every Action In Bagheera
Director Dr Suri informs that he was supposed to make a film with Yash, but it got delayed because of KGF.
Bagheera is the first Telugu release for Kannada star Sriimurali of Ugramm fame, and the fact of Prasanth Neel offering story generated extra curiosity for this action extravaganza directed by Dr Suri. The trailer and songs have received superb response.
Director Dr Suri informs that he was supposed to make a film with Yash, but it got delayed because of KGF. “I made a film with Yash 12 years ago. Since then, I have continued my journey with him. I’m the one who listens to his stories. We should collaborate on another film together. However, it got delayed due to the extensive time taken for KGF.”
The director reveals that Prasanth Neel offered a story, when he planned to make a film with Sriimurali. “I was in the writing team while KGF was happening. I developed the story Prasanth Neel offered to me, and it took about two years for the complete story to be ready.”
Dr Suri also clarifies that the movie has a strong emotion. “There is an emotion behind every action scene. It’s a movie that delivers a great emotional high.”
He unveils that Bagheera is about a young man's life journey. “How does an ordinary guy aspire to become a superhero in real life? What challenges does he face? Can he truly become a superhero? Did he do any good for society? That’s the essence of the story.”
The director also disclosed that Prasanth Neel was super elated when he watched the movie recently.
