Dulquer's Dedication Stuns Everyone!
He is adamant that his voice should be heard in all languages.
When a star actor acts in a movie that is not in his native language, he/she doesn't take care of the dubbing. They take it very lightly thinking that one or the other dubbing artist will be working on it. All they do is just give lip sync during the shooting. But the Malayali handsome hero Dulquer Salman is different from others. He is adamant that his voice should be heard in all languages. Starting from 'Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante' which is a dubbed film to 'Mahanati' which is a straight Telugu movie, he never compromises on the dubbing part.
He is not even giving an exemption to web series like 'Guns and Gulabs' which is coming on Netflix soon. This gangster drama set in the 70s and 80s is made by Raj & DK. The entertaining trailer won the applause of many. Well-known Hindi actor Rajkumar Rao is also one of the leads along with Dulquer Salman. The makers spent heavily on this series.
Apparently, Dulquer is dubbing for Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions of this web series. It looks like DQ got his trait from his dad Mammootty. The legendary actor dubbed for all his Telugu flicks like 'Thalapathy', 'Swathi Kiranam', 'Surya Putrulu' and 'Yaatra'. He learned the language and dubbed for it. His son is following in the same route.
Many say that giving his own voice will help Dulquer in connecting more with the audience. Despite the small mistakes, people will embrace him and show their love after looking at the effort. Currently, he is working on a multilingual film directed by Venky Atluri and his big-budget film 'King Of Kotha' will be released on 24th August.
