'Hanu-Man' Gets More TRP Than Big Star Hero Flicks!

Prasanth Varma and Teja Sajja's 'Hanu-Man' is continuing its dream run not just in theatres but on the small screens too. After earning more than 300 crores, the film came on ZEE5 OTT platform and got stupendous views. After that, the movie premiered on television recently and it generated the highest TRP ratings for a Telugu film in recent times.

Telecasted in Zee Telugu, the superhero flick got a 10.26 TRP rating and it stood top on the list in recent times. Balakrishna's 'Bhagavanth Kesari' stood second with a 9.36 rating while superstar Mahesh Babu's recent outing 'Guntur Karam' got a 9.23 rating which guaranteed the 3rd spot. Ram and Boyapati Sreenu's 'Skanda' got a TRP rating of 8.5 followed by 'Naa Saami Ranga' starring Nagarjuna and Naresh which got an 8.15 rating.

The small film 'Mangalavaram' which had Payal Rajput playing the lead got an 8.3 rating while Prabhas' gigantic action drama 'Salaar' stood last with a 6.5 rating. This proves that big star hero names are not enough to attract the audience and it is the content that will get you the collections or the ratings. 'Hanu-Man' is the biggest surprise of 2024 and its sequel 'Jai Hanuman' is expected to arrive next year.

Teja Sajja is the hero while Amrita Aiyer is the heroine. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar playing a key role and the visuals created by Prasanth Varma turned out to be its biggest USP. The connection of the film's story with lord Hanuman is quite creative and got love from many viewers.
