'Japan' Teaser: Meet Karthi As The Maverick Gold Looter!

Tamil star hero Karthi who holds a solid fanbase in Telugu states is all set to arrive with his landmark 25th film titled 'Japan'. It is not a country's name as one would expect but the hero's name who character is crazy, whacky and highly dangerous. He is a hero, comedian, and villain all made into one.

Produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures, 'Japan' is an out-and-out adventurous thriller directed by Raju Murugan who made movies like 'Joker' and 'Gypsy' before. Karthi's look is wonderful in the movie as it is quite flashy with a lot of gold on him.

The team released the teaser which introduced 'Japan' as the Pan-India thief. They introduced us to the enigmatic world of Japan who has a classic signature style of robbing gold. There are 182 cases on him and he commits the biggest heist in his history. While others lay low after such a big robbery, 'Japan' as a peculiar personality as he parties with girls and has the time of his life. 'Japan' lives life king size and the makers established the title character wonderfully. Also, Karthi's unique dialogue delivery at the end is also intriguing.

Talented music composer GV Prakash Kumar is working on this film while Ravi Varman is the director of photography while Anbu Ariv are the fight masters. Philomin Raj is the editor of this movie while Anu Emmanuel is the heroine. Actor Sunil will be seen in a vital role in the movie that marks the acting debut of popular cinematographer Vijay Milton. Vinesh Banglan, the National Award-winning production designer is also working on the movie. Anu Emmanuel is the heroine in this project which will have a Diwali release.
