'Kalki' Team Make A Conscious Decision To Underplay Prabhas!

The team of 'Kalki 2898 AD' have upped the promotions as the release is just a few days away. The movie is going to be three hours long but the talk from the censor board was reportedly quite positive. The new trailer which came out recently is getting very good feedback. Instead of focusing on the grandeur and action parts, the makers have now stressed on the story and emotion in this trailer.

While the tone and the basic premise are well established along with introducing new characters, fans of Prabhas were disappointed a lot. They are complaining that Prabhas is not getting elevated and his screen time is way too low in the second trailer. They are questioning why he is not being presented in a larger-than-life style in the promotional material.

Sources say that Nag Ashwin and team are consciously making sure that they underplay Prabhas' role in the trailers. The hype over the movie is already quite high in the Telugu states. They don't need to impress the local audience anymore and more focus should be laid on the other languages. This is why more attention is being given to the story and emotions rather than heroism in the trailer.

In order to bring more buzz in Bollywood, they showcased more of Deepika and Amitabh in this trailer. We can clearly see Amitabh getting more elevations in the trailer. They emphasized more on registering new characters which shortened Prabhas' screen time. Sources say that the situation is going to be different in the movie and Prabhas will have a lot of heroic moments for the fans to cheer.
