Kangana: Why Would You Tie Rakhi In A Bikini?

Of course, looking at the way Kriti Sanon has stirred the hornet’s nest by wearing a bralette-bikini-top for an ad that is being aired as a Rakhi special, surely the nation is right now split into opinions. While some women are saying that all women should be independent of their costume choices, star heroine and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut slammed them all.

In a statement, Kangana said, “It's is a wonderful time to be a woman, our closets are full of variety of clothes, today's woman is a global woman, from cocktail dresses to lehnga cholis, jeans to saris, bikins to salwar kameez, from all the options that are available to us today why would you tie your brother a Rakhi in your bikini/undergarments? Where are all your styling options?”

She went on saying that the advertisement is intentionally creepy and targeting the culture. Though many women are defending Kriti Sanon’s costume, she definitely should have taken care of that, because wearing a bikini is no crime and she did a lot of that in “Cocktail 2” but promoting Indian festivals and culture in those outfits is grossly insulting to the culture itself.

For now, Kriti Sanon hasn’t even responded to these happenings and we have to see what she will say.
