Kangana-Taapsee War: Is It Making Sense?

Both the heroines, 40-year-old Kangana Ranaut and 39-year-old Taapsee Pannu, have crossed their prime, not doing any amazing cinema, while one moved to politics and the other is having a cosy life somewhere in Denmark. However, their ongoing social media battle is something that is getting lot of attention, but not making any sense.

Long back, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandeli accused Taapsee of being a ’sasti copy’ (cheap version) of Kangana. Now that Taapsee is promoting her latest movie “Gandhari”, the media folks asked her about those long-standing tiffs with Kangana; Taapsee stated that her views are reflective of her upbringing. Responding to the same, Kangana stated, without taking Taapsee’s name, that the actress is using her image to make it big for her upcoming Netflix movie. “She has done a B-grade movie now, and is using Kangana’s image to promote it” Kangana posted on her Instagram and later deleted it.

Later, Tapsee made a cryptic post, adding the only line “Hence Proved”, indicating that Kangana’s upbringing is making her do all these comments. However, Kangana once again retorted with the lines ‘Sasti Copy ’. But then, what is this argument about, and what’s useful or making sense is the real question.

That said, Kangana is a national-award winning actress who needs no validation from anyone, while Taapsee has proved her own mettle too in Tollywood and Bollywood. So what’s this fuss about?
