One of the most hyped Telugu movies, with producer Nandamuri Kalyanram saying that they are making a Game of Thrones equivalent, is none other than NTR Jr’s Devara.

Though the film has made big numbers, somehow that content hasn’t received a terrific applause like a KGF or RRR. That brings us to the director of the film, Koratala Siva.

Earlier, it was thought that director Koratala Siva would be involved in making the sequel to Devara, as promised at the end of the first part of the film. However, lots of delays and thoughts into the sequel of the movie is said to have bored the director also.

With Jr NTR moving towards Prashanth Neel’s Dragon and later having Trivikram’s mythological film in the pipeline, surely Koratala has to wait for years to make Devara 2 happen.

As Koratala was left without any proper date and period at which he would start Devara 2, the director is said to have moved to another project now. He has been working on a story with Nandamuri Balakrishna in mind as the hero.

That would be the first ever coming together of Koratala, who made some sensible mass films earlier and Balakrishna, who is known for a massive mass hero image.

Sources added that this film might go to floors once Balakrishna wraps his next film under the direction of Gopichand Malineni.

Also, this brings the rumours down that Devara 2 is going to kickstart anytime soon.
